What is your Return Policy?
At Grid Habitat, we want every customer to shop with confidence. If something doesn’t go as planned, we’ve made returns and refunds simple and fair. Here’s how it works:
1. Return Window
You can request a return within 30 days of receiving your order. Unfortunately, we’re unable to accept returns after that time frame.
2. Who Pays for Return Shipping?
- If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, we’ll cover the return shipping cost.
- If you’re returning an item because you changed your mind, you’ll be responsible for return shipping fees.
3. Damaged or Defective Items
Received something broken or not working properly? Contact us within 30 days. We’ll provide a prepaid return label and once the item is returned and inspected, we’ll issue either a full refund or a replacement—including any original shipping costs.
4. Changed Your Mind?
If you no longer want the item, you can return it within 30 days—as long as it's unused, in its original packaging, and in resellable condition. You’ll need to handle the return shipping, and once we receive and inspect it, we’ll refund the product cost (excluding shipping).
5. Refund Processing
Once we receive and approve your return, we’ll send a confirmation email and issue a refund to your original payment method within 7 business days. Please allow additional time for banks or credit card companies to process and reflect the refund.
If it’s been over 10 business days since your refund was approved and you still don’t see it, contact us at support@gridhabitat.com and we’ll look into it immediately.
6. Restocking Fees
In some cases, a restocking fee may apply depending on the item and return reason. If applicable, we’ll clearly communicate this during your return request process.

- Standard kit comes with a floor. The 2x4 Floor joists and then 5/8” plywood on top. If you choose to remove the floor option and place the shed on top of a concrete slab, you can nail it directly to the cement slab with a vapor barrier underlay. The cement should be the exact same size as the shed floor. Call us for the exact floor size as all shed sizes are nominal.

Western Red Cedar - An environmentally friendly 100% Western Red Cedar that is extremely long-lasting cedar. You don't have to worry about any termites because cedar is simply insect resistant.
Wall - Worry no more for you can have as much space as you want with our pre-built 6 feet wall panels would be more than enough to store all of the things that you currently have.
Door - You can easily secure your dutch door that has a dimension of W 30" x H 71" by having a deadbolt on the top portion of the door and a locking doorknob or door lever on the bottom portion. You can also add a surface bolt on the interior of the top door as well as a flush bolt for a double Dutch door.
ThermoClear Panels - With our high-impact, strong material ThermoClear panels, block harmful UV rays and are widely used in commercial greenhouses.
Floors - It has plywood floorboards that are 5/8" thick with 2" x 4" Floor Joists.
No Cutting Required - You will no longer have to worry about cutting anymore because everything is already pre-built and all you have to do is to assemble the materials.
Assembly Package - You don't have to figure everything out because we already did that for you. Our package has already every hardware assembly and plan for you together with an instruction manual to help you efficiently assemble everything.
Decorative Shutters & Planter Boxes - Maybe you just wanted to improve and make your Hobbyhouse even better with our decorative shutters and planter boxes in place you can design anything you want just like the saying your imagination is the limit.
Decorative Cupola - Designed purely for aesthetic appeal, enhancing the overall look of the shed. Installed on top of the shingles.
